USA confirmed for Quad Nations

We promised that the teams for the first Quad Nations would be special and we are delighted to confirm that the USA will be lining up at the Leicester Arena alongside Great Britain.

As three time Paralympic Champions and four time World Champions the USA have a fantastic history in the sport - as one of the pioneering nations in its development and also as the only country to have won a Wheelchair Rugby medal at every Paralympic Games.

In London at BT WWRC15 the USA and GB never got to play each other but The Quad Nations round robin format will see the USA play 4 times in 3 days with at least one game against GB guaranteed.

For many people the USA v Australia epic double overtime match in the Rio Paralympic final is regarded as one of the best games of all time, and you can expect lots of close matches at The Quad Nations involving a team that currently sit 2nd in the IWRF World Rankings.

USA Wheelchair Rugby high performance manager Mandy Goff says that the team are 'extremely excited to be taking part in the first Quad Nations'

The full schedule will be revealed when all 4 teams are finalised with the first tickets on sale on December 1st.
