King Power Quad Nations to be broadcast live

THE King Power Wheelchair Rugby Quad Nations will be broadcast live on the BBC Sport’s digital platforms this week.

Great Britain, Australia and the USA go head-to-head for the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Trophy at Leicester’s Morningside Arena between February 21-23.

This year’s tournament, which brings together three of the top four sides on the planet, will again be shown live, with streams available on the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport website and app.

The action starts at 11am on Friday with a mouth-watering repeat of the Rio 2016 Paralympic final between Australia and the USA.

It all comes to a conclusion on Sunday with the side with the most points after the pool games going straight through to the final to face the winner of the second and third place play-off.

Martyn Salt, Event Director for the King Power Wheelchair Rugby Quad Nations, said: “We are delighted this year’s event will be shown live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport website.

“Our players are excited to know that their loved ones on the other side of the world will be able to watch them.

“It is also fantastic to be able to bring Wheelchair Rugby to a wider audience at the beginning of such a big year for the sport.”

Tickets are still available for all three days. Click HERE to book.
